Jasne Zamkowe

Browar Namyslow

Poland

Poland really needs to kick it into gear and start impressing me, or I'm going to completely give up on their beers. This didn't impress me at all. It had a sharply bitter, fairly acidic flavor from the hops, but not in any good way that I can think of. Light bodies straw colored, and stale smelling overall. Nice picture of a castle on the label. I'm sure in real life it's a pretty place, and I'm betting the Germans and Russians thought so themselves when they occupied it 350 out of the last 400 years. Sorry, was that harsh? Yeah, well so was this beer.
