I used to consume this in mass quantities on fishing trips with my dad in younger days. Ice-cold swill, cheap as dirt. A pleasant thirst quencher on a sweltering hot Mississippi summer afternoon. So on a recent trip out west, I blundered into this beer again, and out of nostalgia, I bought a twelve pack. Not very bad a-tall. I have to say, if this were available here in Central Texas, I'd be tempted to give up my beloved Lone Star. Hamm's is a damn fine lawn mower beer, and it's exactly as I remember: ice-cold swill, cheap as dirt.
