Well I was a little ticked that they stopped brewing their "bitter" in order to brew this. This may wind up being a seasonal beer, we'll see. It's definitely an excellent summer beer. This is a North American pilsner, it doesn't have that bitter tanginess that the European style pilsners have. This beer certainly is smooth and refreshing though. It has that clean, crisp finish that a pilsner should. This is good beer and the Saskatchewan "Pil" drinking crowd would do well to switch to this. As blasphemous as that may sound to some. Worth keeping your eye out for this one if you're ever in western Canada, sometimes labeled as "Western Premium Pilsner".
