Weihenstephaner Korbinian

Bayer, Staats-Brauerei

Germany

Half a liter. 7.4% ABV. 10:00 pm. And some people need sleep aids to fight insomnia. No thanks, I think I'll never have that problem if I have Korbinian. It's thick, rich (as if you couldn't tell, with "Dunkles Starkbier"...Dark Strong Beer...on the label). Nice and malty, this is what German Doppelbocks should all be about. A beer to knock you on your ass and help you call it a night. My favorite Doppebock used to be Salvator. I think it's now Korbinian. No, I KNOW it's now Korbinian.
