Between the name and the psychedelic label you'll either dismiss it or be intrigued. The "almost pale ale" is certainly tongue in cheek as this pours rather dark. There's lots of hops in this. Although there's some malt taste to balance it out, the predominant tastes are hops and citrus. It's fun, tasty, and maybe not what you'd expect. it reminds me of "Blind Faith" from Magic Hat for those of you familiar with that beer. I may have rated this a little on the high side, but I appreciate local craft breweries who are creative and like to have fun with the beer that they produce. In this case I think they got it right.
