My first beer review of 2011! Riverwest Stein Beer is an amber lager from Lakefront, which often puts out a decent product, catering to the huge beer drinking population of Wisconsin. It reminded me of a Vienna lager, with its copper color, malty character, with a bready taste to it. I could taste a little bit of a citrus flavor from the hops in the finish as well. A very solid lager, something I could easily make a regular in my rotation.
