This is a delicious lager, with a gorgeous copper color, and a nice malty flavor. It's hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops, giving it a nice central European flavor. The beer is named after the female owner of New Glarus Brewing and Weyermann Malting, harkening back to how brewing was done before the Industrial Revolution....mostly by women. This will remind you quite a bit of the imported German lagers, except it's brewed locally (if you're in Wisconsin) and thus quite a bit fresher.
