Boulevard Bully! Porter

Boulevard Brewing Co

The "Bully!" in this Bully! Porter does not refer to people who don't drink this who, well, bully people who do. Theo Roosevelt used the term Bully! as an adjective meaning "superb" or "wonderful". I don't know anyone who uses it in that meaning today, except to joke about Theo Roosevelt. This beer, however, can correctly be called superb or wonderful. I can't see our former president hoisting a bottle of this while shouting "Bully!", but mainly because he's dead. You can, and should, do this when drinking it. (and yes, it's official. I did research for this review. I feel shame.)
