The reason I love DFH is their audacity to experiment. I love the results, even if they are not wonderful, they are interesting, like a train wreck. This one is not the best, but not the worst. Lots of cranberry, birch, and herb flavor as promised, less lingonberry, but still there, but the honey is absent, which is sad. It is very unusual for me to wish a beer to be sweeter, but I think this could have used more honey or candi sugar. Still, an interesting journey. Note that at 10%, it is very strong, but the alcohol pepper is so very well integrated as to be unnoticeable. Bravo on that.
