The first impression I had was of a sweet tasting, not quite so nutty stout, without the color or the bitterness. It had the color of a brown ale, fairly bitter, a little spicey. Best served at 50-55 degrees, so the bottle says...I concur. Pretty good, but not as good as Pete's (believe it or not) or Catamount. In all fairness, they have entirely different tastes.
