The autumn season has begun. 2004 is winding down, it's a chilly day, and the Razorbacks just got punched in the mouth by Auburn. I need something potent. Ahh, Aventinus. A half liter of a warming doppelbock. Yup, that'll do. Mmm, now I feel better. I'm enjoying the first fire of the season, watching the season finale of Rescue Me, and a full stomach from Kennesaw's food festival and a dinner that included home-made bread using an oatmeal stout. And Aventinus. I had this years ago, but obviously didn't appreciate it for its healing powers. I give it the same rating, but now I know why it deserves that rating.
