This is from the oldest brewery in the world, and you can tell practice makes perfect. No more spectacular than any other of this style, but is good from beginning to end. Refreshing malty taste, sweet, yeasty, goes down smooth and quenches you. Taste of fruit and spices mixed in as well. Nice and frothy.
This is exceptional. Easily the best wheat beer I've ever head. Its almost like a Belgian in its complexity. You get the banana & clove taste you'd expect with the yeast, but the subtle spiciness kicks in...feels light and crisp like a good hefe should. This is the hefe that other hefes aspire to be.
