This lager perfectly balances malt sweetness with a clean hop finish that will lift you to new heights of refreshment. At least that's what the label says. Then again, the label also has a large "H" with wings and a halo on some sort of lozenge-shaped triangle. I'm not quite sure what to make of that. I suppose if I knew what the word "Helles" meant, it would make more sense. I'm thinking "hell", but that doesn't explain the wings and halo. Getting back to the beer, it didn't exactly lift me to new heights of refreshment, but it was oh, so close. Very smooth, nice aroma. Definitely something you'd want to bring home to meet the folks.
