St. Ambroise Pale Ale

McAuslan Brewing

Someone told me that this is a throwback to the type of beer that was very common in Quebec back in the 70's. I don't know much about that. But what I do know is that this beer is no light weight. Don't let the name fool you. It's not pale, when you pour it into your glass you get a nice amber coloured beer. When you drink it you'll taste orange, peach, and leafy bitter hops. Lots of hops. And then there's a dry nutty finish. It's almost perfect in that you get a nice robust beer that is still quite refreshing.
