Veltins Pilsener

C. & A. Veltins

Germany

I regret to say that this wasn't the freshest sample I could have had. There was something a little off about it, so this will not be a fair review. It is a crisp, lightly hopped Pils, very light bodied, but it also had a skunky flavor to it, like it sat in a cargo hold for too long. This is one of the most popular brands in Germany, and 10's of millions of Germans can't be wrong, so I will endeavor to get a better sample, but until then it won't get high marks.
