This was, pure and simply, God-awful. If you want to know what this tastes like, pour half a liter of beer through a colander of barbeque that you've been smoking for a week. I recall the Maerzen tasting pretty good, but the Weizen was just horrendous. I don't what it was, unless smoked wheat malt takes a much more dramatic turn for the worse than smoked barley malt. It's not every day that I pour a German beer down the sink, but alas, that was the ultimate fate of about half of this concoction.
