I usually associate brown ales with winter. Dark beers just go better with cold weather. But this beer's just so darn good, it even fits May. I haven't had a beer from this company I didn't like. Their brown ale pours up tawny brown. Nice carbonation, sweet and malty without being overpowering, with a nice balancing of hops. A very pleasing beer. Not exactly a beer for outdoor activity in the paralyzing heat of a Texas summer, but if you're sitting about in the cool of an evening and looking for a little bit of something good, this beer will fit that bill nicely.
