My face is all tingly as I write this, but not out of lusty pleasure for this beer. Rather, I just killed a glass of La Trappe Tripel, and shortly after I killed this one, a fine half-liter of wheat beer goodness. Not drunk, but not willing/able to drive. Now, I usually grade hefeweizen by a benchmark pre-set by others, and I will do so here. Not as good as Paulaner, but I think this is the best "micro-brewed" German hefe that I've had. Certainly better than anything the US has cranked out. And it comes in a neat flip-top bottle. I think I'll go to bed now, seeing as how it's past midnight and I just turned 32.
