Wow. Very nice. I've had several of St. Arnold's offerings, but had never seen this one before. So I gave 'er a spin. Nice color, spicy aroma, sweet and hoppy. They couldn't have brewed this with Houston's god-awful water supply; must've imported some good stuff. I was sippin' this while neck-deep in the pool on a steamy 98-degree summer afternoon. I'd say that would be the activity this beer was tailor-made for.

One damn good Texas ale, I tell you what. This IPA is better then Texas vs. OU at the Texas State Fair, boy howdy. On a hot summer day, the only thing better then this would be burning an evolutionist, a gay married couple and Ted Turner at the stake. OK, I'm out of Texas clichés. I'm impressed that such a tribute to craft brewing could come out of Texas, honestly. This was a spot-on example of how an IPA should taste like, with that immediate crack at the taste buds from the hops. I tell you, this completes the ultimate Texas fantasy...Ann Richards, soaking in the sun in a hot tankini, drinking a pint of Elissa IPA. Mmm-mmmm.
