At 5.9% ABV it might be slightly stronger than most beers but not exactly a "winter warmer". It's like a weak porter with subtle hints of some fruit & spices, which is common for winter beers. I liked it. A lot of small breweries really go over the top for their winter seasonal, but that wasn't the case for Summit. There's such a thing as a winter brew and such a thing as a session brew, but not many examples of a winter session brew. That's what this is.
